INTOLERANCE TIMES
APP DESIGN

 
This is a project for an app made for anyone experiencing  intolerance anywhere in the world to publish their own experiences of hardship, in places where they may feel is popularly misunderstood. Any place where misunderstanding between peoples breeds aggression and suffering, this app aims to give the misunderstood a voice in hopes of bridging some for of communication with the opposing party. 



 
 




PROBLEM:

Racist hate crimes, abuses and injustices either by individuals or by state institutions are rising around the world against ethnic minorities or groups. 
INSIGHTS:
One of the biggest contributing factors to violent attacks and abuses is intolerance. 
SOLITION:

An app that helps bridge tolerance by allowing the misunderstood to have a voice. 














The home page for this app will be a “World View”, where the user can oversee the entire globe and zoom into specific areas of the world to see what articles are being written there.  







               



In the app there is an in built mechanism that tracks consistent statements across all articles regarding a topic. This gives the viewer re-assurance that these phrases are more likely to be true to the topic, and something they can rely on as relevant
